mesh; netting (open-woven material)

Material made of interlaced wires, threads, or fibers forming a network of small openings (e.g., screen, net, gauze).

mesh size; mesh count (sieve grade)

A measurement of screen or sieve fineness, given as the number of openings per linear inch; used to classify particle or grit size (e.g., 200 mesh).

3D mesh (polygon network)

A network of vertices, edges, and faces that defines the shape of a 3D object in computer graphics or CAD.

mesh network (topology)

A network architecture in which each node connects to multiple others, providing multiple paths for data (e.g., Wi‑Fi mesh).

hair streaks/highlights (mèche)

In hairdressing, streaked sections of hair or the technique of coloring selected strands.
