Terms of Service

ThaiFlip is a language-learning product provided by Binary Code Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom.

You may use ThaiFlip only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law and you comply with these Terms and all applicable laws. If you are under the required age, you may use ThaiFlip only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

ThaiFlip provides language-learning tools and related features, which may include:

• Dictionary lookup and search
• Flashcards, decks, and study sessions
• Reading and script-learning features
• Audio playback and pronunciation tools
• OCR, transcription, and sentence-grading features
• Account, progress-sync, and feedback tools

We may add, remove, suspend, or change features at any time.

If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for:

• Safeguarding your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised

You may not impersonate another person or create an account using information you are not authorized to use.

ThaiFlip may allow sign-in using third-party identity providers such as Apple or Google. Your use of those sign-in methods may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use ThaiFlip for your personal, non-commercial use. You do not receive any ownership interest in ThaiFlip or its software, content, branding, or underlying systems.

You keep ownership of any content you submit (decks, issue reports, OCR images, audio, search text, sentence attempts). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate and provide ThaiFlip.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

You must not:

• Use ThaiFlip unlawfully or in a way that infringes another person's rights
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Upload malicious code, malware, or harmful content
• Use the service to send spam, abuse staff, or harass others
• Use automated means to bypass our controls

ThaiFlip is an educational tool. Definitions, transliterations, OCR results, transcriptions, sentence grading, pronunciation feedback, and other AI-assisted outputs may be incomplete, approximate, or incorrect.

ThaiFlip is not a certified translation service, a substitute for a qualified teacher, or a professional advisory service. You are responsible for how you use any output from ThaiFlip.

We try to keep ThaiFlip available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, provider failures, security events, or changes to third-party services.

Your use of ThaiFlip is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available on this website and within the app.

These Terms do not themselves guarantee access to any paid or premium feature. If we offer paid features, subscriptions, or one-time purchases, additional pricing and billing terms may apply.

ThaiFlip, including its software, design, branding, text, audio, dictionaries, databases, and other content, is protected by intellectual property and other laws. Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or publicly exploit ThaiFlip content or technology.

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or feature ideas, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you breached these Terms, your use creates risk, we are required by law, or continued access could cause harm.

You may stop using ThaiFlip at any time and may request account deletion by contacting support@thaiflip.com or using any deletion feature we make available.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThaiFlip is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity.

Our total liability is limited to the greater of GBP 100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Binary Code Ltd from claims arising out of your misuse of ThaiFlip, breach of these Terms, your content, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

ThaiFlip depends on third-party infrastructure and service providers, including identity providers, cloud storage, and AI or speech-processing providers. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of ThaiFlip after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except to the extent mandatory consumer protection laws in your place of residence require otherwise.

Subject to mandatory rights under applicable consumer law, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or ThaiFlip.
